Love coming here for their flight version of teas! It helps you to try different flavors for just $11. My personal favorite that I always get is Princess Daisy (passion fruit green tea) that always hit the spot. Although you can't really adjust the sweetness level, majority of their drinks are not too sweet and have the perfect balance. The ambiance of this place is cafe style. It's typically always packed so might be hard to find seatings. But it's right outside Orange Circle so you can always walk around outside to find seatings. Definitely a lot of college students since it's next to Chapman University.

Back again and love how the menu updates every so often. Just FYI the flight only applies to the TapList, so the Ate Latte and MC Squared are part of the Shaker Specials. If you're into stronger coffee, the MC Squared is great as it has Espresso Roast and Espresso Cubes. Ate Latte is an Ube Oat Milk Thai tea latte. SO GOOD

Stop my heart, this place just gets better. Famous for its coffee on tap, Contra has my vote for trendiest cafe in Orange County. While my previous review still rings true, I figured it was time to share an update. Contra is a decently sized coffee shop, sitting just outside the Orange Circle. My girlfriend's and I visited this past weekend after exploring the nearby farmers market. We happened to stop by during their ube fest, which included desserts from 3-4 local vendors. To celebrate the special occasion, I ordered the Ate Latte, an ube oat milk Thai Tea latte. This bevy was the trifecta: thai tea, ube, and caffeine. Couldn't ask for more. Since it's incredibly tough to just choose one drink from their extensive menu, they also serve their drinks in a flight. You can pick four items from their tap list to narrow down your favorite.

A very quiet coffee place that sells croissants too. Rumor has it that tea can be ordered. I had to test the rumor. I ordered a flight of tea. (I might have thrown in a butter croissant--that's my gosh darn beeswax though.) This flight of tea came out to me as quickly as one says the last two letters in the word tea. I felt obliged to begin drinking the tea tea-mediately because the instant appearance of the tea startled me. The tea refreshed me with sip; one could say this flight aimed to teas, wink. The butter croissant radiated a flakey, buttery, soft beauty. This bread sat there serenely as a model posing for a community college painting class. I know I am a better man for beholding & tasting a croissant that buttered my senses so completely. Contra, we should do this ^ again sometime.

What a cute hidden gem in the historic strip of Orange! The perfect coffee shop for that fun bev that you need while browsing all of the shops on the strip. The Foxy Cleopatra (viet coffee with Thai tea): Quite the strange combo but it works! The Thai Tea is very subtle but the flavor is definitely there, so you will taste it. That being said, I'm not too sure if the coffee is doing much here. It is definitely not a sweet drink, it is kind of bland if anything. 7.3/10 The Best Friend (brown sugar matcha): At first sip, I thought it was WAY too brown sugary (as in I only tasted brown sugar--and the very artificial kind). But I came to really enjoy the combination, granted brown sugar and matcha together isn't really an all that out-of-this-world idea. It's not too sweet at all surprisingly, so if you like brown sugar more than matcha then I'd recommend trying this! 7.5/10

This is my favorite cafe to frequent in the rare occurrence I am in the Orange area. The cafe has such a cute, hipster vibe to it and has a large variety of drinks from coffee on tap to fruity, refreshing teas. The menu is also very creative and fun to explore as you decide which drink you want to try. A unique aspect of this cafe would be the option to try our flights of different drinks. I decided to try the kuya latte which was a mix of ube and espresso with oat milk. The drink was so creamy with the ube flavors mixing well with the creaminess of the oat milk. I will definitely try this drink again. There were plenty of tables available on a Friday morning, and i love the decorated interior of art and murals on the walls. If you need outlet, i would suggest sitting near the windows. I can also see this being a cool hangout spot for after dinner in the d town Orange area. I cannot recommend this cafe enough!

Cute place with a nice ambiance that most importantly allowed me to have my two dogs inside. I definitely appreciate they're accommodating for pet owners and their coffee is good too! Out of the flight, my favorites were the goldrush and the derozan. They have a good variety of flavors and created a great atmosphere to work in.

I really enjoyed my experience here last time, so I wanted to check out the other drinks while I was in town. Kuya Latte (5/5): Hands down the best Ube Latte I've ever had in my life. The Ube took over the coffee as it blended so well. However I felt that I had to sacrifice some coffee. I really love this place and I hope to try this cafe again.
